  • The Chaos Walking Trilogy by Patrick Ness takes place on another planet. (Books 2 &3 are also counted here.)
  • Red Rising by Pierce Brown (which I marked DNF at ~30%) takes place on Mars.
  • Saga by Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples takes place on other planets and on a spaceship. (Volumes 2-6 are also counted here.)

    1. It’s pretty great! There’s some nudity in it, if that sort of thing bothers you. Within the first few pages of Vol. 1 there is a sex scene.

  1. Why didn’t you finish Red Rising? I’m looking into buying and I’m looking for opinions of it to see if I should.


    1. The voice of the main character got on my nerves, and the plot was sooooo slow. I’ve sort of grown out of dystopia.
