WWW Wednesday

Hey guys, I’m trying a new theme!

WWW Wednesdays is a weekly meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words. Each Wednesday you answer: What are you currently reading? What did you recently finish reading? What do you think you’ll read next?

A few days ago, I started All Things New: Revelation as Canonical Capstone (New Studies in Biblical Theology #48) by Brian J. Tabb. This is an amillennial systematic theology of Revelation.

I’m really enjoying it, so far. If you’re familiar with amillennialism and partial-preterism, check this out. I’ll be reviewing/summarizing it once I’m finished (I got a copy from IVP for review).

What I Recently Finished:

Last week, I finished Not Forsaken: A Story of Life After Abuse by Jennifer Michelle Greenberg. This book is about the author’s past abuse, and her struggle with PTSD, anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts.

I thought the book was pretty good! It’s helpful for those who have been or are being abused, or those who know someone who has been/is being abused.

What Do I Think I’ll Read Next?

There are three more books I need to read and review for publishers this month. (Five if two ever arrive… I think they may have been lost in the mail?)

I’m only a few chapters into All Thing New. I was planning on reading one chapter a day, but didn’t read for three days due to a migraine. Genesis is the only one I currently have in possession, and The Unsaved Christian is on its way right now… The Long Walk Home comes out next week (with B&H’s review program, you have to wait for the release date + shipping days).

I’ll probably finish All Things New by the time The Long Walk Home arrives, and since that’s the shortest, and a new release unlike the others, I’ll do that next! (Wow I ramble a lot.)
