Every single year I make resolutions, and every single year I never have success with any of them. This year, I’m going to try to be practical.
Resolution 1: Read every single day, no matter what. (This includes listening to audiobooks when I’m doing other tasks… I know, I know, it’s not really reading but it’s still consuming some book I need to read.)
Resolution 2: Not just read every day, but read at least 20-30 pages a day. Depending on how engrossed I am, this should take 30 minutes. It’s realistic, especially considering the slump I’ve been in.
Resolution 3: FOCUS ON MY TO BE READ PILE. Ever since I started reviewing books for Christian publishers a few years ago I haven’t read very many of the books I’ve purchased… And I keep buying books. It’s a huge problem.
Resolution 4: Chill out on requesting books from publishers. Its an addiction, I swear.
Resolution 5: If I don’t like a book, I won’t force myself to read it. Life is too short, and my TBR is too long.
Hi! Welcome to Top 5 Tuesday! Good luck with your resolutions for 2022, I’m sure you’ll ace it! I totally understand the TBR pile. Mine is more like a TBR mountain 😅
