Children’s Book Review | Big Trucks: Getting The Job Done Together

Big-Trucks-A-Touch-and-Feel-Book_9781400310586_CoverThis is a bit out of the norm, but I have two nephews who are under the age of two, and BookLook bloggers has some children’s books, so I thought I’d request one and attempt to review it… It’s really hard posting a review for a book that’s ~10 pages long and probably has <30 words. Haha! 🙂

Big Trucks: Getting the Job Done Together is an adorable children’s touch-and-feel board book published by Tommy Nelson (Thomas Nelson’s children division). This is told and rhymes, and is about trucks working together to get the job done (obviously from the title lol). I’d say the target age group is toddlers to pre-schoolers (so 1 to ~5 years old?).

Some of the pages have rubber tires and gritty sand. My nephew “G” is a wild man who can’t sit still long enough to read most of the time. When he does sit down to read, he tries to turn the page before you’re finished. He’s certainly my nephew, because he loves shiny things, and a couple of the pages have foil/shiny parts.

* I received this book free from the publisher through the BookLook Bloggers in exchange for an honest review (thank you!). All thoughts are 100% my own.
